Y’all.
I must be very ill.
Anticipating a very late night at the office, I went down to the office cafeteria around 6:30pm tonight, intending to buy myself chocolate.
Instead, I came back to my desk with a bowl of chicken soup.
That has never happened to me before.
The internet tells me that “disorientation” is a common symptom of:
- Meningitis;
- Acute Mountain Sickness;
- Mad Cow Disease.
The next step is dementia and eating broccoli voluntarily.
It’s over. All downhill from here.
Aw heck, chicken soup is well known for its comforting and, more importantly, curative proprieties. If you were sick, the soup cured it 😉

I wasn’t sick!! That’s the worrisome part!
Well, apart from being sick of work. 😁

That’s okay, chicken soup can fix even that!

How could you have let chocolate down like that? Do you think they will ever forgive you for choosing soup over them again?

I know!!! The relationship is strained.
I’ll just play the new Adele song at chocolate, to show my regret.

Hopefully, the chocolate will take you back. If chocolate is a forgiving kind of chocolate.

That was a close call. I almost had to call in a mediator for that.
